Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IIE) is dedicated to the research, education, and societal interactions in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E). These represent vital processes in the economy, which are occurring in societal communities as well as in businesses. These phenomena engage different actors involved in the generation, diffusion and exploitation of ideas into business and societal innovations, including change of both existing firms as well as renewal of society through new firms and industries. How well one succeeds in these processes is also related to the ability to compete in the global innovation economy.
 

IIE combines PhD training, MSc educations, research, and active dialog with companies on these issues. Our approach to I&E is multi-disciplinary yet the field is also emerging as a specific field internationally, including PhD and MSc training and dedicated journals.
