In class collaboration between Volvo Technology and IIM

The master program of Innovation and Industrial Management and Volvo Technology started to collaborate more closely to provide students with challenging academic and practical relevant cases as part of the course New Concepts in Operations Management and Services. This year Volvo Technology has identified three key business challenges, which have been presented to the IIM students. The students will intensively work with these challenges in groups, perform literature research, conduct interviews at Volvo Technology, benchmark other organization, analyze results and provide business relevant recommendation to Volvo Technology. The project will end with a presentation at Volvo Technology.
The in class collaboration provides an excellent opportunity for the IIM students to apply theory to practice and proves to good relations between Volvo Technology and the master program of Innovation and Industrial Management.
